Finding Healthy Foods on the Go

My schedule is usually booked solid from 6AM-6PM. When I am on the go, it can difficult for me to find healthy food options. Many people ask me how I maintain a healthy eating regimen when I have such a busy schedule. 

I suggest buying and preparing meals in the beginning of the week to save time and money. Pick a few of your favorite go-to meals and prep them before your week begins. Many people find it easiest to prep on Sunday night. 

Here are a few of my favorite go-to's for preparing meals for the week:

Another tip is to keep healthy snacks on you at all times! If you eat a light snack in between meals, it will keep you full until you are able to eat a healthier meal.

If you have to eat out, here are a few #ChristalTips

  1. Salad is a better option but ask for a light, fat-free dressing on the side.
  2. Opt for grilled lean meats. Skip the breaded protein and french fries.
  3. Choose whole wheat bread or skip it altogether.
  4. Always choose water as your beverage of choice.
