Top 8 Restaurants for Healthy Foods in LA
Living in LA has its' perks and one thing I love about my city is the amount of food options available. I'm very conscious about what I put in my body and I'm lucky to live in a city that has many healthy food options. Here is a list of my favorite restaurants that serve healthy food in LA:
El Segundo, Santa Monica, Torrance, Pasadena, West Hollywood
I love everything at Veggie Grill. I have been a huge fan since the restaurant opened. There is a wide selection of vegan foods to choose from: Salads, Bowls, Burgers, Wraps and more. If I want to eat light, I will opt for the All Hail Kale Salad. If I am really hungry, I will get the Sante Fe Crispy Chickn or Grillin Chickn as a wrap.
#ChristalTips: Check out Veggie Grill if you have never tried Vegan food before.
Stuff I Eat is a organic vegan restaurant in Inglewood, CA. What I love the most about Stuff I Eat is the soul food twist on Vegan foods. My favorite item on the menu is the Nacho Salad. The salad has Mixed Field Greens, Chopped Kale, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Corn Tortilla Chips, Wild Rice Blend, Seasoned Tofu, Black Beans, Vegan Cheese Sauce, Corn and Guacamole. If I am really hungry I get the Soul Food Platter: Yams, MacNCheese, BBQ Tofu, Kale Greens, Black Eyed Peas, Potato Salad, Coleslaw and a Cornbread Muffin.
#ChristalsTips: If you are in the Inglewood area, stop by Stuff I Eat and try out some of their great food.

True Foods Kitchen is one of my favorite new health food restaurants in Los Angeles. Their motto “Honest food that tastes really good” couldn't be more true. They offer a wide variety of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. My favorite item on the Lunch menu is the Mediterranean Chopped Salad and the Shrimp Panang Curry made with Brown Rice, Quinoa, Potato, Broccoli, Ginger, Carrots and Mushroom.
I can't wait to go back and try the Breakfast and Dinner menu.
#ChristalsTips: The natural refreshers at True Foods Kitchen are amazing! Try my favorite: Pomegranate Limeade.

If you love salads, I highly suggest Simply Salad in Santa Monica or Downtown LA. You can build your own salad or order one of the Signature Salads. My favorite signature salad is the Professional 2 made with Arugula, Spinach, Salmon, Quinoa, Cranberries, Cucumbers, Grape Tomatoes and Purple Cabbage.
#ChristalsTips: Replace Arugula with Romaine and the Cranberries with Carrots. I promise you will love it!
Sweet Green is a local and organic restaurant in Santa Monica. Their primary focus is on supporting local farmers, sustainability and providing “real foods”. I have tried the Hummus Tahini Salad made with Shredded Kale, Chopped Romaine, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Local Feta, Homemade Hummus, Falafel and Cucumber-Tahini Yogurt.
Sweet Green is another great healthy option if you are in the Downtown Santa Monica area.
